How to use timesheeting

Dashboard view

You can use the dashboard to get insight in the amount of 'attendance-hours' for specific connections and projects. To open the dashboard view by click on the bar-chart icon in the top-bar of the interface.


Filters

In the grey column on the left you can find all filters (time, calendar, and connections). You can use them to influence the results shown on the right.

Time

The default time span that is displayed is the view you have selected on your grid. You can customise this by clicking on it and selecting a new time span.


Calendars

By default, all calendars that have events with attendees within the selected time span (and selected connections) are shown. When you change the date, the calendars will automatically update. By clicking the 'edit' button at the top of the calendar-section you can select one or more calendars. Click 'done' and they'll become persistent when you filter on time and connections. This means only results from within the selected calendars are displayed.


Connections

The connection filter works the same as the calendar filter. By default, all connections that have events with attendees within the selected time span (and selected calendars) are shown.

When you change the date, the connections will automatically update. By clicking the 'edit' button at the top of the connection-section you can select one or more connections. Click 'done' to make them persistent when you filter on time and calendars. This means only results from the selected connections are shown.

Results

The results consist of a summary (on top) and details.

Summary

On the top (from left to right) you'll see the total number of events, the total duration of those events, and the total amount of 'attendance-hours' booked on those events. Below them (again from left to right) you'll find the average number of attendees per event, the average duration of an event and the average amount of booked hours per event.


Details

You can group the details by day, week or month. Within the blue bars you'll find a summary of the information they contain. Click on them to display the individual events. Also the events can be opened to show more detailed event information and a link to go to the actual event itself. 


Export

In order to receive the raw data a CSV export is available with one single click.
